Q: Why did I receive an invitation to participate?
A: We have invited people attending your GP's clinic aged between 25-74 years. This study asks about the family history of cancer to assess the best bowel cancer screening test for you. Assessing your risk based on family history is not suitable if you have a past history of bowel cancer or an inflammatory bowel disease such as Crohn's Disease or Ulcerative Colitis. If you feel this study is not suitable for you, please advise the research team via the email provided on your participant information sheet.
